This editorial in today's Austin American-Statesman just has me totally...flabbergasted:
Among those still in prison is a 61-year-old Swisher County hog farmer afflicted with severe diabetes. He was the supposed kingpin. There is a young mother, Kizzie White, whose two children have had maternal guidance and love taken away from them for more than four years. There are several others in prison who just want to move on with their lives and get out of Texas.Even though the state's star witness, Tom cman, has been thoroughly discredited and indicted on felony perjury charges, Tulia defendants must remain in prison.

i've said before texas needs to be "liberated" as it has lots of oil, loves to wrongfully imprison and execute its citizens, and has ties to terrorist organizations [the kkk, american nazi party, to name just two], not to mention that elections have been sketchy at best there for a long time...but i'm really more in favor of instituting an underground railroad for people to get the hell out if they want.
our cockroaches are slightly smaller here, if you are interested...you just have to watch out for things like enless rain, banana slugs, killer mold and serial murderers...
