« And...rape. | Main | I have been hit HARD »
Coley has been talking non-stop for about an hour or so. For the past 20 minutes or so, I have been attempting to cook lunch, and I'm finding myself talking out loud to myself just so I can think things through. Finally I broke down, and had this conversation with Coley:
Mama: Coley, can you PLEASE stop talking out loud for a little while. I can't hear myself think.
Coley: Why are you thinking?

Todays Mediation "why are you thinking" Try to think that while clearing your head.
i'm still looking for the mute button on my child... i promise to report back the second i find it!
slightly OT, i tried to click on "Radical Homeschool Blogs" and got an "internal server error" message...
I have one who talk s just NON-STOP.The other day, she was leaving to go to a friend's house and she was STILL going on and on to me as she was walking out the door.
Bute serious...why on earth would you want to do something like thinking? hehe ;)
coley got you. cool.
Hey Dru!
I remember saying to my daughter at 4, "Please can you stop talking for 2 minutes? Just 2 minutes, so I can think?" She would say, "Okay" and stop for about a half a minute then say, "that 2 minutes mommy?....mommy?...that 2 minutes?"
Now that she's almost 17, she still does it sometimes, but it's so much less frequent that I don't dare stop her.
